"So to start off I will say that I have a huge family and finding a place to stay that will accommodate us all. I recently signed up to the Air B&B app and looked around and found a place that was in the area and reached out to the host named Jonathan. I asked if he would be interested in having myself and my children stay in his home so that I could visit my children who live all across the country (and my home is too small) for the Christmas holiday? He immediately sent an invitation to stay on the dates I provided. The day my daughter flew in she was a bit early so Jonathan allowed us to enter earlier than the check in time (something no hotel has ever allowed)! The large open space had 5 king size beds in 5 large rooms, and it was immaculately cleaned! I can’t say enough about both the home and the host. He has seriously changed the way I will vacation forever! I will definitely be looking for homes that he rents from now on for any family gatherings we have from now on out! A+home." -Felsie

"We were extremely happy with the house. it was big enough for all of us and cozy enough that we could all be together when meal prep was happening. The kitchen was well apportioned and clean. The open concept living area was fantastic so that the littles could play and still be seen by all. The bathrooms were all very clean and well kept. And all of the linens felt very soft and comfy, including the towels. There were enough towels for everyone in each bathroom. It was about a 10 min drive to Downtown Durham where the wedding venue was, but it was easy to get there. Of note to history buffs, this is literally right around the corner from Duke Homestead and Tobacco Museum. I wish that I had known, and I would have taken my granddaughters. "The place was a great last-minute getaway to recharge for the new year! We ate at some wonderful restaurants (Salt 64 and Pirates Deck) while there. The hot tub was extremely relaxing (even though the bottom was a little slick and we couldn’t locate the leaf net…hands work, too). It was all very clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed!
